York Water Partnering with Local Fire Departments
With nearly 4,500 fire hydrants in service, York Water plays an essential role in the firefighting operations within and beyond our service area. Our partnership with local fire departments ensures that they will have reliable and sufficient water and pressure on demand. This partnership was demonstrated this past week near Abbottstown, PA when a two-alarm fire broke out and the responding firefighters were able to access our supply to fight the fire. It is a privilege to be part of the team that protects our community.
