Hydrant Flow Test

York Water provides hydrant flow tests specifically for fire suppression planning and required annual testing of hydrants and related systems.

Hydrant flow tests will be conducted in the order they are received. We appreciate your patience as we work through requests. All scheduled tests are subject to weather conditions. If inclement weather arises, we reserve the right to reschedule a test for safety reasons.

York Water does not conduct flow test for residential fire suppression systems, however, we are able to provide static pressure.

To initiate your request, complete the form below with your contact information and specific details about your request. A member of the York Water team will contact you within 3 business days to confirm we have the necessary information to process the hydrant flow test request. If you have questions prior to our response, please contact our New Services Team at 717-845-3604.

Upon completion of the test, the requester can expect to receive a letter with detailed results of the test within 5 business days.

While we strive to provide accurate results, York Water cannot guarantee consistent outcomes for every test and cannot be held liable for any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
