National One Cent Day
In honor of National One Cent Day, we share a small treasure our team recently found within the walls of our main office in York, PA. The Coronet Head Large Cent was minted between 1816 – the same year as our founding – through 1839. Our penny is 1822 – 6 years after we were incorporated! At York Water we cherish our 209 years of history and all the little surprises left behind by those who came before us.
