Save Time with These Programs
Automatic Payments
Enroll in or discontinue Timely Automatic Payments (TAP). TAP automatically withdraws your water, wastewater, or refuse payment from your bank account.
Paperless Billing
Save paper and reduce clutter when you receive your bill by email. You must create a customer account or log into your existing account to enroll in paperless billing.
Municipal Billing Services
Several municipalities contract with The York Water Company for billing services. Services include wastewater, also known as sewer, and refuse services. See the following municipal services for special billing information and convenience fees.
The York Water Company handles wastewater service billing and payments for Spring Garden Township.
Convenience Fee
When you pay your bill by debit or credit card, there is a $3.25 convenience fee per $500.00 maximum payment amount.
When you pay by recurring ACH/eCheck, there is a $0.75 convenience fee.

Payments received before 8:00 p.m. will be posted to your account the next business day.
The York Water Company handles wastewater service billing and payments for New Salem Borough.

City of York Customers
The York Water Company does not provide wastewater (sewer) service for the City of York and no longer accepts payments for wastewater (sewer) or refuse (trash) services on behalf of The City of York.

York Water is not able to answer any questions related to PA American’s Wastewater (sewer) service in York City. You must contact PA American directly about your sewer services, bills, or other related issues.
