If you are conducting a residential, commercial, or industrial building project and need York Water to establish water or wastewater service, you must complete our New Construction Services Form at the bottom of this page.
Know Your Project Type
You will need to tell York Water the type of project you’re requesting service for. These are the projects that you may choose from:
Development/Subdivision
A new residential or mixed use development consisting of multiple units/dwellings following the land development process.
Main Extension
A project requesting service where York Water does not have mains along the property boundaries of the parcel requesting service.
Residential
A single parcel requesting service for residential structure(s) where a York Water service line does not currently exist and where a main extension is not required.
Commercial
A single parcel requesting service for commercial structure(s) where a York Water service line does not currently exist and where a main extension is not required.
Industrial
A single parcel requesting service for industrial structure(s) where a York Water service line does not currently exist and where a main extension is not required.
